Kate Washington is a food and travel writer and recipe developer. Her work has appeared in Sunset, Cooking Light, All You, the San Francisco Chronicle, Yoga Journal, and many other publications. A native of Chico, California, she is the daughter of an almond grower. She and her husband—the co-founders of Roan Press, a small literary publishing house—live in Sacramento with their two daughters.
